$2,400,000 SCRATCH-OFF PRIZE CLAIMED LEAVING ONE TOP PRIZE UNCLAIMED IN MONTHLY BONUS GAME

Lonnie Gooden III of Austin claimed the third of four Monthly Bonus top prizes worth $10,000 per month for 20 years, a total of $2.4 million. Only one top prize remains unclaimed in the Texas Lottery Monthly Bonus scratch-off game.
Gooden said simply, “I’m a believer now.”
With more than $52 million in total prizes, the Monthly Bonus features overall odds of one in 4.94, including break-even prizes. Nine second-tier prizes, worth $20,000 each, remain unclaimed,along with many other prizes ranging from $5 to $2,000.
“Monthly Bonus is consistently popular with our players, and Mr. Gooden’s winning ticket reminds us once again that Texans can win big with scratch-off games,” said Texas Lottery Commission Executive Director Gary Grief.
Gooden purchased his ticket at the Jordania located at 605 Neches Street in Austin. For selling the winning ticket, the store is eligible for a retailer bonus of $10,000.
