CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OWNER NAILS TOP PRIZE IN DIAMOND 7S
January 26, 2012
Joe Sias has had a lucky streak in Virginia. First, he won $20,000 in a Virginia Lottery game. Two weeks later, he scratched a Diamond 7`s ticket and won that game’s top prize of $100,000.

It happened while the Winston-Salem, North Carolina, man was driving through Virginia. He bought a few tickets at Store #3, 16305 Fancy Gap Highway in Cana.

“I didn’t think much about it,” he told Virginia Lottery officials as he claimed his prize. He scratched the tickets a little later in his travels and discovered he had won the top prize.

Mr. Sias, who owns a construction company, said he had no immediate plans for his winnings.
