METHUEN MAN WINS $1 MILLION

Anthony Bellia of Methuen claimed the 1st $1 million prize in the Mass. Lottery’s $5 Holiday Bells instant game.

Bellia selected the cash option on the $1 million prize and received a one-time, lump sum payment of $650,000 (minus taxes). He plans to use the money to help his grandchildren with college expenses and to buy a new car.

Bellia purchased the winning Holiday Bells ticket at Common Grounds Café located at 10 Ayers Village Road in Methuen. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
