GRATITUDE MAKES YOU RICH!
December 19, 2011

Yes you have heard about it. Gratitude is the best way to switch from a mind full of scarcity to a mind that is happily recognizing all of the blessings that you have in your life, no matter how small. If you come to think about it we are richer than we think we are. Sometimes however this does not translate into cash though, as is the case with Ronald Redden. National lottery

Ronald Redden has a long history of playing the lottery. He’s one of those guys that just wanted to become rich by winning the lottery. For him, there was no other way to riches. So he played the lottery frequently. Actually for some it would be a little bit too frequent and people might consider that he is spending too much money because he would spend around $1000 a year on lottery. In fact, Mr. Redden has been playing for 7 years. Just do the math that is around $7000, gone!

Two years ago he lost his job, but he did not lose his hope of winning the lottery, it was his dream. And if he was going to win it, he had to play it. Lottery numbers

When Ronald won the lottery, the first thing he said was “Thank you Jesus!”

Ronald won $1 million playing Mega Millions. That was in the December 6, 2011 draw. For that draw, Ronald bought three tickets from a gas station in Warsaw, Indiana. Two of the tickets were numbers that Ronald chose based on family birthdays. The third ticket was a random quick pick. After the draw, Ronald checked the two tickets with the numbers that he chose. He didn’t win anything. However, he forgot that he also bought the quick pick ticket which was left in his wallet.

Shortly thereafter, Ronald’s girlfriend called him to tell him that it was announced on the news that someone bought a winning ticket at the gas station in Warsaw where he bought his tickets. Ronald told her it wasn’t him – He already checked his tickets.

A few days later, Ronald was back at the gas station to buy more lottery tickets. He opened his wallet and saw the Mega Millions quick pick ticket that he forgot about. He pulled it out and started comparing his numbers to the winning numbers.

“I looked at the first three numbers and I went thank you Jesus, because I knew right then and there that was the winning ticket,” Ronald said.

Ronald is not looking forward to a life of fame and riches; he is only looking forward towards a peaceful retirement and not worrying about money, so he is not using his money to buy much. He does plan to invest it wisely.
