David Becker from Wyoming Michigan, a high-low operator for a company in Grand Rapids managed to win a $250,000 lottery prize. Before playing, the man said that if he would win just $5,000 he would quit his job. And, it looks like he will hold true to his word, as the man who used to work for General Motors and is already receiving a pension is set to retire from his job.

“It’s a chance of a lifetime,” David Becker stated. Well, the $250,000 may be before prizes, but he will still be left with quite a hefty sum, so we are inclined to agree with Mr. Becker. The actual sum David Becker will receive is about $176,000. US lottery

“It was stopping and I thought blue won,” Becker said. “Then it went to yellow. I stumbled a little and said a naughty word.”

Becker stated that plans on buying a Harley Davidson and use the rest of the money to pay off his bills. Lottery winning numbers

“I’m cheap,” Becker stated. “You can live on that, can’t you?”

In other news, Miguel Bernal from National City, California, found his fortune in a cookie. Well, in fact he found some winning lottery numbers in a fortune cookie. He has played the Fantasy 5 lottery game for 10 years, and he has finally managed to win a consistent sum. The man is one of the winners of the prize, and he will receive $153,681.

“I went into the store (Monday) night and the clerk told me they had sold a winning ticket,” Bernal stated. “They kept on telling me ‘It’s you!’ but I said ‘No way!”‘

The numbers which helped Miguel Bernal win his prize are 5, 7, 21, 32 and 33. Mr. Bernal stated that about 10 years ago, he found these numbers in a fortune cookie and he’s been playing them ever since. The attendant at a Chevrolet dealership stated that he will just use some of the money to buy a car for his daughter and he will save the remainder.
