Last week, Ray’s Market was the store which sold a jackpot winning Set For Life Scratchers lottery ticket. The winner of the prize will receive $100,000 a year for 20 years, which amasses to a $2 million annuity. The winner already came forth to claim his prize but wished to keep his identity a secret. However, Raymond Kassab, the owner of the store, said about the winner “he’s a regular customer here, and he is a really nice guy.”

Raymond Kassab also said that the sales for lottery tickets at the store “have been awesome!” and as rumors of the store being lucky become more widespread, the store owner says he believes more and more people will come to buy lottery tickets there. In other news, nobody managed to win the jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball draw. The jackpot already reached an astonishing $61 million, which would grant the winner a $36.5 million lump sum. However, even though nobody managed to win the big prize, there were still 4 lucky lottery players who managed to get second place prizes. These tickets managed to get the first 5 numbers right and only missed out on the Powerball. One of them was sold in Illinois, one in Nebraska, one in Indiana and one in Florida.
