MAN ALMOST THROWS AWAY WINNING TICKET

James Dixon, a retired maintenance supervisor living in Burlington, almost threw his luck away in the garbage. But the man managed to realize in time that the checked numbers were actually for the previous day lottery. That is how he managed to rescue his Powerball lottery ticket worth $200,000. James Dixon stated that he had a feeling and re-checked his lottery numbers. State lottery.

“The trash was already down at the street ready to be picked up,” Dixon stated. “I went out and pulled the bag, took it inside and dumped everything into a laundry basket.”

James Dixon stated that he could not believe his eyes when he double checked the numbers and it dawned upon him that he was the lucky winner of a $200,000 prize.

“I checked the first number and said, ‘Well, I got the first one.’ Then I looked at the second and third. I just started feeling numb.”

Dixon stated that he will use his winnings to benefit his family, which he will take on a trip to the mountains. Also, the man will use a part of the money to pay for his mortgage. Lotteries.

“I’ve never seen a check like that before,” Dixon stated. “This is a blessing.”

James Dixon represents living proof that listening to your heart can sometimes help you more than you could ever imagine. The moral of the story is that if you do play the lottery, always be sure to double check your numbers and don’t throw the ticket away until you are positive about the outcome of the lottery draw.

Things like this happen often enough. Just a few months ago, a similar case managed to put a smile on the faces of Americans, happy to see somebody win the lottery. If you don’t perform your duty to check your numbers, you are not only hurting yourself, but the lottery too.
