The Virginia Lottery and other states offer a game called Win for Life, wherein you have to pick six separate numbers from 1 through 42. You can also play Easy Pick and let the computer select your numbers. Each Win for Life ticket costs only $1 to play and there are eight ways to win six different prizes. The Grand prize is $1,000 per week for life. Every week there are two drawings held every Wednesday and Saturday. The Lottery will randomly select six numbers from 1 through 42 then a “Free Ball” drawn from the remaining 36 numbers. Anyone whose six numbers match the Lottery’s first six numbers wins $1,000 a week for the rest of their life! The seventh number – the “Free Ball” number – offers several chances to win other prizes, including the $52,000 second prize. There are 8 ways to win, with and without the “Free Ball”.
