The Pennsylvania State Lottery is urging the winner of the Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle of last year to come forth and claim his prize. The raffle took place on July 10, 2010, and the holder of the ticket has yet to claim his prize. The ticket has a 1 year expiration date, but as it will fall on a Sunday, the owner of the ticket must claim his prize until July 8. National lottery
“This is the only one of the four $1 million winning tickets sold in last July’s Millionaire Raffle drawing to remain unclaimed,” Drew Svitko, Lottery interim executive director, stated. “We know players are looking forward to the next Raffle drawing on July 9, as less than half the tickets are available for sale, but we encourage all of our Millionaire Raffle players to look through their tickets from last year one more time in hopes we can award this $1 million prize.”
The number of the lucky raffle ticket is 00081227 and was purchased at Giant Eagle, 1050 Mt. Laurel Plaza, Rt. 30, Latrobe, Westmoreland County. The Lottery advises all winners to sign the back of their lottery tickets and call their line or file a claim at any one of their offices. It would be a sad event to see a $1 million prize go unclaimed, but at least it could remain with the lottery and it will be used to help the citizens of the state. Just last year, the Lottery contributed more than $35 million to senior programs in Pennsylvania. Lottery winning numbers
A new raffle will be held this year, on July 9. There will be 6,000 available prizes which will total winnings exceeding $5 million. Ticket sales have already started since May and they will continue to be available until July 9 at 5:00 PM. Also, there are 500,000 available tickets so if they all get sold before July 9, the sales will obviously stop. That could be expected, as all 11 Millionaire Raffles which took place before were sold out in time for the draw. Powerball lottery
